University of Tokyo Summer Internship in Japan is open now after a long time. Due to COVID It was a delay. Undergraduate students can apply for this Fully Funded Internship in Japan without IELTS/TOEFL. Tokyo Summer Internship is for All Nationalities holders. The Duration of the Internship is from June 6 to July 16 2021. This is a Paid Internship in Japan for International Students.
UTSIP Internship is organized by the Graduate School of Frontier Sciences. There will be a Weekend trip to Japan & other Cultural events for the selected students. Only 20 students this year will visit japan for Tokyo japan university summer program. There are Multiple Internship Fields available.
The University of Tokyo Provides Hundreds of Opportunities each year. Recently, they have announced a Tokyo University scholarship as well. UTSIP Kashiwa provides a hands-on research internship program in the departments of Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Studies, Information Technology, International Studies, Materials Sciences, Advanced Energy, Ocean Science, Physics, and Sustainability Science Studies.

Program Schedule
First week
- Orientation
- lectures by leading researchers at GSFS,
- Japanese language classes
Remaining weeks
- Participants will study under the guidance of their respective laboratories after developing a research proposal
- Will gain the first-hand experience in the academic research process.
Final day
Participants will make a presentation summarizing their research experience.
Financial Coverage
UTokyo provides a UTSIP scholarship and Accommodation to Participants.
- UTSIP Scholarship Amount: JPY 110,000 (JPY 110,000 is enough for Six Weeks as they will also provide Free Accommodation.
- A health insurance plan is also included
- No Airfare Tickets will be Provided.
Important Announcement Regarding Visa
You can enter Japan without Visa if you are from below mentioned countries. Please check this website for the 68 countries with which Japan has such Agreements.
Eligibility Criteria
- Participants must be in their undergraduate program and will not have completed their BA/BS degree.
- Participants from The University of Tokyo, or elsewhere in Japan can also apply.
- Participants are required to participate in all activities including classes, laboratory work, and special events organized by UTSIP.
