Benefits of Scholarship:
Admitted students will be given the following privileges:
· A full course fee includes tuition, examination, University hostel accommodation charges, group medical insurance, and an annual contingency grant of Rs.10,000 to support study-related expenses.
· Reimbursement of one-time onward and return economy class, shortest route air travel expenses, subject to a maximum of Rs. 30,000 shall be made.
· A monthly stipend of Rs.12,500 would be provided for living costs.
Eligibility:
· Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks.
· E/B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Civil, Energy, Chemical, Biotechnology, or Environmental Engineering with a qualifying examination score of at least 55%.
· BSc. in Physics, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Nanoscience, Biotechnology, Photonics, Material Science Science, with at least 55 percent in the qualifying examination.
· Postgraduate degree in Science following the 10+2+4 educational pattern with any engineering specializations or equivalent, Electrical, Mathematical, Materials, Geology, Hydrometry, Civil Engineering, and Biotechnology.
· Any other comparable qualification claimed for admission would be considered by the DGET faculty by the admission rules of Indian Universities.
Selection criteria
The local SAF chapters shall perform country-specific preliminary selection and nomination based on the qualifying requirements while maintaining gender equality. The admission committee formed at Pondicherry University’s Department of Green Energy Technology will make the ultimate selection of the nominated applicants.
