1# Benjamin A. Gilman Scholarships

The Gilman Scholarship Program offers awards for undergraduate study abroad and was established by the International Academic Opportunity Act of 2000. The program is open to all majors, with slight restrictions on the number of awards for MBA and LLM (in Business Law). An average award is about $20,000 per year of study. The scholarship is for Masters & Doctorate students.

2# Boren Award

Boren Awards are funded by the National Security Education Program (NSEP), which focuses on geographic areas, languages, and fields of study deemed critical to U.S. national security. Boren Fellowships provide up to $30,000. Boren Scholars and Fellows study throughout the world, including Africa, Asia, Central & Eastern Europe, Eurasia, Latin America, and the Middle East.

3# Georgia Mining Foundation Scholars

To assist worthy students in Georgia with college tuition, the Georgia Mining Foundation was established with a $40,000 scholarship fund to be distributed as individual $500 scholarships.
