Summer Internship Program applications are now being accepted by the Lunar & Planetary LPI Institute. Through the LPI Summer Intern Program in Planetary Science, undergraduate students can participate in cutting-edge research, learn from well-known planetary scientists, and explore fascinating careers in planetary science. During their 10-week internship, students have the opportunity to participate in enrichment activities such as lectures and career development workshops.

Benefits

  Candidates will receive a stipend of $7,300 for the length of the program.

·        Candidates will be given travel and lodging stipends as part of the mentioned stipend.

·        Candidates from outside the United States will receive an additional $500 to cover travel expenses.

·        Domestic candidates will receive up to $1,000 in financial assistance, while international candidates will receive up to $1,500 in financial assistance. This offer is only eligible for candidates who have already submitted an accepted abstract to the Conference on “Lunar and Planetary Science” as a first author.

Eligibility

·        The award is for undergraduates who have completed 50 semester credit hours.

·        Physical and natural scientists, computer scientists, mathematicians, and engineers are the best candidates.

·        Everyone is eligible, regardless of gender, sex, or disability.

·        Scholarships, curriculum, experience, scientific interest, career aspirations, and research projects will all be considered in the selection process.

·        If you can receive an English Proficiency Certificate from your university’s English professor, you won’t need to take the IELTS or TOEFL.
