Nationality: local as well as international candidate
Program: three years Doctoral scholarship
Value of the scholarship: an allowance of $50,000 per year, for 3 years
Research area:
- Health research
- Natural sciences and/or engineering research
- Social sciences and/or humanities research
Eligible for the scholarship:
- Must be nominated by only one Canadian institution, which must have received a Vanier CGS quota
- Pursue doctoral degree for the first time
- Are enrolling in full-time doctoral program in the following semester or year
- Have achieved a first-class honor graduate, as determined by your institution.
- Must not hold, or have held, a doctoral-level scholarship or fellowship from CIHR, NSERC or SSHRC to undertake or complete a doctoral degree.
