About the prize
The Varkey Foundation has designed the Chegg.org Global Students Prize 2021- a USD 50,000 sister prize to the Global Teacher Prize 1 million USD- to honor the contributions of exceptional students around the world that are creating a genuine impact on learning, the lives of their peers and on the society in general. If you are a student with great academic achievement(s), you can apply or you can nominate another student who has made a great achievement with respect to the issues just mentioned.

Eligibilities
- The prize is open to any student at least at the age of 16, enrolled in an academic institution, a training or skills program.
- Students who are enrolled in online courses, as well as part-time ones, are also eligible.
- Students can be in any kind of school, in adherence to the binding law in any country in the world.
- The foundation is seeking students who meet a combination of the following criteria.
Assessment criteria
Candidates or nominees for the prize will be evaluated according to their:
- Academic accomplishment
- Influence on their fellow students
- How they can make a change in their community and beyond
- How they triumph the obstacles to obtain their goals
- Their innovation, and
- Their fostering of global citizenship.

Eligible students can apply themselves or nominate other students whom they are sure about to have made an exceptional achievement.
